Current Openings :: 

Sales Coordinator

Time Commitment: 10-20 hours/week

Events Coordinator

Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/week during active event period

 

 

Details of Job

  • Solicits new business from organizations that would attract area moms and families (e.g.health care, child care, retail, activities, lawyers, other products/services, etc.)
  • Regularly meets mutually agreed upon monthly sales goal
  • Manages and responds to new incoming sponsorship inquiries related to ads, sponsored blog posts, social media campaigns, giveaways, etc.
  • Builds supportive, ongoing relationships with sponsors, (e.g. sending results of campaigns and writing thank you’s etc.)
  • Assists in selling sponsorship packages for events
  • Responds to emails in a timely manner (48 hours or sooner when timeliness becomes necessary)
  • Actively tracks the communication and the effectiveness of current client partnerships.
  • Represents Omaha Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times
  • Delegates and/or executes all advertising campaigns (e.g. initiates invoicing process, receives image from advertiser, coordinates with writers of sponsored posts.
  • Works with sponsoring businesses and blog contributors to gather necessary media (ad images, sponsored post content, social media posts, giveaways, etc.) 

 

 

Job Details

  • Along with Owner, serves as point of contact for all Omaha Moms Blog events
  • With guidance from Owner, owns and manages all aspects of sponsorships, including swag, giveaways, table sponsors, venue and food and beverage
  • Solicits swag and giveaway partners, as well as table sponsors for events via phone, email and social media with assistance from Owner
  • Manages all aspects of communication with swag, giveaway and table sponsors, including reminder emails, setting deadlines, and cultivating relationships through event updates, teasers and post-event follow-up
  • Creates social media promotions for sponsors leading up to and at events
  • Within event blog posts (e.g. to announce Moms’ Night Out and to recap events past), ensures accurate inclusion of swag and giveaway partners (as needed and/or promised to partnering brands), as well as table sponsors
  • Sets up and manages Ticket Page, including inbound inquires
  • Brainstorms new ideas for Omaha Moms Blog events with Owner
  • Responds to emails in a timely manner (48 hours or sooner when timeliness becomes necessary)
  • Represents Omaha Moms Blog in a positive and professional manner at all times
