We are extremely excited to announce Bloom, for new & expecting parents at Brownell Talbot! We will host this event in the main library to welcome expecting and new moms in Omaha at our 1st annual new and expecting parent event. Omaha mamas can expect swag, giveaways, food, speakers, and all the usual fun we have at our events! At Bloom you will hear from all the amazing baby experts and will be able to ask questions, do some shopping, and mingle with other mamas in Omaha!

Omaha Moms Blog is all about producing high quality events for Omaha moms and families, and we are excited about what’s in store! We look forward to seeing you soon and also encourage you to join the Facebook Event for additional fun updates!

Who :: all Omaha area moms or moms-to-be {no kids, please, with the exception of young nurslings}

When :: Saturday, April 21, 2018  10:00am-12:00pm

Where :: Brownell Talbot, 400 N Happy Hollow Blvd, Omaha, NE 68132

Why :: This event is geared toward moms who are currently expecting a baby (whether it’s your 1st or 4th), had a baby within the last year, are a foster/adoptive moms of infants, or are planning on growing your family soon. Every guest will leave with a bag with swag, socialize with other moms, enjoy delicious food, enter some fabulous giveaways, and enjoy our panel led by mom and baby focused experts.

LIFEhouse Partnership

LIFEhouse Partnership is a West Omaha Food Pantry & Diaper Bank. We are located at 11806 Prairie Lane Dr. and sit on the boundaries of Millard Public Schools, Omaha Public Schools and District 66.  Our unique location allows us reach out into many parts of our community. We seek to help those who need assistance to feed their families, diaper their children, offer spiritual support and provide resources. 

We are the only Diaper Bank in Nebraska who is partnered with the National Diaper Bank Network.  Diaper Need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby happy, healthy, clean and dry. One in three families in Nebraska suffers from Diaper Need.  We provide a two week supply of diapers (60-70 diapers) to each child, once a month.  In 2017, we gave over 43,000 diapers to children in our community.
