Cool off at one of the many spraygrounds or splash pads in Omaha this summer. Spraygrounds in Omaha operate 9 am to 8 pm daily, beginning first Saturday in May through the last Sunday in September, weather permitting. 

Spraygrounds or splash pads are a fun safe option to play in the water. No matter where you live in the Omaha area, there is a splash pad for you!

Spraygrounds are especially great for young children because you don’t have to worry about if kids are able to swim and they are FREE! Pack some snacks and water bottles and make it a play date.

Benson Park

The rubber-padded water area includes 29 spray features with images of cattails, insects, and flowers. Around the spray ground is a picnic table area with a shade canopy.

Bob Kerry Pedestrian Bridge

Located next to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and the Missouri River, water sprays from the circular plaza. Restrooms located in the National Park Service Building.

Fontenelle Park

4405 Fontenelle Blvd, Omaha, NE 68104
Nine spray features including colorful dumping bells, spinners, and spray “flowers”. Ground sprays are interactive – when a child steps on a spray, nearby sprays react by rising higher. Water jellies are low sprays that are toddler-friendly. 

Hillsborough

4573 N 138th St.
This new splash pad has fourteen different water features including a spray loop, snail, water tunnel, and numerous ground sprays. The main water element is the Twinsplash, a bucket tower that creates anticipation and excitement with its two water wave effect.

Kountze Park

Features interactive palm trees, spray hoops, and ground sprays.

Levi Carter 

809 Carter Lake Shore Drive 
Features a serpentine stream bed with playful fish, flowing water plants, and many other fascinating water play elements designed to evoke thoughtful and imaginative play. The main water element is the large 50-gallon dump bucket.

The largest sprayground in Omaha! It has a Viking theme with 37 spray features, including a Viking ship, sea monster, and large dump bucket. Bonus: there is shaded seating for parents. 

Orchard Park

It has a space theme with the sun, stars, and planets illustrated in the rubber surfacing. Spray components include a water wheel, an arch, spray hoops, a donut, and ground sprays. 

Sandy’s Splish Splash Garden

Cool off outside the Omaha Children’s Museum.

Alaskan Adventure at Henry Doorly Zoo
