Omaha Moms Blog Introducing :: Jacqueline

Omaha

After growing up in Southern California, I moved to Omaha in August 2005 for pharmacy school at Creighton University. My love for this city has grown so much over the last 12 years because of all the great events that have happened while living here. I met and fell in love with my husband here, this is where we bought our first house together, and this is the place we are raising our two children. I have heard Omaha described as a “20-minute” city, meaning you can get anywhere in Omaha in just about 20 minutes. Coming from the Los Angeles area, that is just music to my ears! I can get so much done in less time and spend more time with my family. Another term used to describe Omaha that I would agree with is “family friendly”. I love that there are various activities around town to take my children. It’s the perfect size city for me: not too big, but big enough for my kids to have great experiences.

Moms

My first kiddo is three years old (almost four) and his name is Theo.  Alexis is his baby sister who just turned one in April. Watching my kids grow every day is the most amazing part about being their mommy. One minute they are this tiny and vulnerable human being and the next they steal your heart with a simple hug or amaze you with their creativity. My hope is that my children will always know how much I love them and that I will always be there for them. Even though I work full time, I never stop being their mom.

Blog

Being a contributor for Omaha Moms Blog is unbelievably exciting for me! I attribute any success in my life to learning from others and seeking out wisdom much greater than mine. In turn, I also love to help those that I can with what I have learned through life experiences.  What a better way to do both than to be a part of this community!
